time vortex.....

being unemployed is sooooo boring! i sit on my 15th(?) day without a job....and it seems like its been months...sigh....i need a job, or just something to dooooo!!! right now my aspirations for everyday are -- make food, beat mario, and clean. ewwww this sucks...sigh

demon...pizza?

so a few days ago i watched one of the best movies ever...thank you IFC!!! i was flipping through the channels as fast as a crack head tapping slot machine buttons when i fell upon the beautiful ethan embry on my screen..... now in general i love the ifc channel. 90% of the time there will be something on that channel i will watch...anywhooooo, i stopped flipping channels then and there. this movie is AMAZING!! seriously one of the best movies ive seen in awhile, and its a couple years old (lol)....anyways mr embry is a 30 year old pizza driver, and newcomer kylie sparks is a 'total loser' who met the pizza man when she ordered one for her birthday party (that no one came to). then she goes with him on his deliveries for the night. sounds dorky, but is most awesome!

so the 'demon' part of the blog title has to do with....drumroooollll...i watched paranormal activity last night...and its alright...albeit a few times scotty and i were like 'turn on the lights' and 'why didnt he show her or tell her ______??'. i thought it was ok (not as good as i had hoped, but ok), and there were a few good scares. i only wish there were more of those alternate endings on the bluray. i heard there were like 10, and only one bonus one is included on this take home version. i guess what im trying to say is if you are a horror nerd like me, watch it, its not a waste of time and might get your heart pumping (which is good, i was worried that not seeing it in theatres might kill is 'gotcha' factor).

herro....

i've decided to blog on blogger mostly to get away from the facebook/myspace/farmville and such. so a quick run down of me......i lost my job last monday, i live in spokane (ew), and tish/scotty/scott are all names for my boyfriend......wow this first blog is uber lame...ick....

so yah...i lost my job last monday. it was kind of funny. i was sitting in the edr before my shift, when chris came up and just gave me the 'come with me' wave. now, chris gets a shaky voice and body when confrontation is about to go down (or is going down), so i knew something was up. i told myself 'ok its a u.a or im fired, ok....we're walking past the emt, there goes the bathroom...eff im fired...' lol, it was a bit funny to me that i just didnt care once i realized what was going on. and im totally fine with it. that place (for you that dont know is a local casino) is a life sucker. all the mouth breathing, crack smoking-child abusers that i had to suck up to didnt help the lack of sunlight i was able to see on the grave shift. it was crap. in the last couple of years the casino had gone from a place that takes care of its 'teammates'....to a place where they dont care because 'the economy is bad enough there are people lined up to take your job'. i had tried to quit a few times and LITERALLY got brick walled and denied from putting in my two weeks....then as i prepared to drop down to part time (on DAYS may i add!) i was fired the one day (seriously ONE day) i was at enough points to be fired. my lack of caring i think surprised pat and chris because he kept saying not to make a scene....why would i though??! it was finally an out to a terrible work environment. i just signed my papers and bs'd with pat til tish came to pick me up (he likes to drive me to work when the weathers bad....) it was a smooth transition to joblessness....well with the exception of making zak walk me out, the one supervisor on my shift i had respect for and was friends with. making him walk me out seemed like a smack in the face. but whatever im done with place, even with pat telling me to apply after the 90 days bc ill have a job...so i guess you could say that my being fired is actually a 90 day suspension....sigh
