Popping my BZZAGENT cherry....

This past week, I received my first bzzagent product to review. For those who have not heard of the site....bzzagent.com is a site that has campaigns. For each campaign, they send out full size products to select people (along with coupons and information to share with friends). Then the tester has about two months to try the product and give their opinion...

I received Nasacort. Thankfully, this is coming at the perfect time- I have end of Winter allergies. I will give an opinion and review once I have used it. In the meantime, here is a link to some info :)

Dandy Walkers.....

Dandy Walker Syndrome is a cause near to my brain and heart. Though I really haven't been too active in the cause as an adult- I have recently started to be more vocal with sharing information. This is in part to one of my best friends having two children that are affected. For those of you who are unaware of this condition- to have one child is rare, but to have two siblings that are affected- that is unheard of. Thankfully, places/groups such as the Dandy Walker Alliance and the Seattle Children’s Research Institute/Hospital are working on awareness and finding ways to foretell and treat.

Now, you may have noticed that I said it was a cause close to my brain and my heart. My heart is those girls and the other children that are affected with severe malformations. My brain...well, that is me. I was born with a slight variant that was not noticed until I was in my teens. Even then, the doctor decided that 'if it hasnt affected me yet, then it wont' due to my brain growing around the cyst at the base. They discovered it when I began to get severe migraines- which I still have and have yet to find out the source of (I just know I am allergic to almost all medications and that my migraines last for days at a time). Unfortunately, as I get older tremors and brain lapses seem to be happening- and can relate back to my variant. Still, I am grateful that I do not have a severe case that would be causing extreme impairment.

So, please....look into this syndrome, become aware, and if you would like a wrist band to support the cause- let me know :)

A shredder..... Seriously....Staples had a coupon for $25 off any shredder, and they had one for 24.50. I added a 1.29 pack of pens and paid no shipping. Just the pens and their tax.

February 2014 Sample Society

I received my first Allure Sample Society Box, and I love it! Even With two of the products not working for me, I am impressed!

 

 

 

 

My box contained:

 

*-417 handcream in ocean. Um, this shit is fan-fucking-tastic. Not only does it leave your hands hydrated and silky for hours after applying- but at no point did it feel greasy. The smell is nice and light. This product is made in Israel. A full size is 3.52 ounces and $14.99 (from Amazon). Which makes this 1.7 ounce travel size worth about $7.50.

 

*Radical Skincare Exfoliating Pads. This contains 15 pads, and I am so excited to use these. A 100 ct package is 75.00. Making this sample worth $11.25.

 

*Ipkin New York Brightening and Wrinkle Care BB Cream. No. No No No. It blends ok but is orange as hell- and if the light version that I received is this dark and orange, then I can only imagine the darker shades. No pricing for this due to the unknown size.

 

*Butter London Polish in British Racing Green. I love this color and brand. This dries into a deep green with slight shimmer and a semi-gloss. It is a one to two coat polish (my favorite kind). Price: $15.

 

*Diptyque L'Eau Du Trente-Quatre (34) Sample. This smell is yuck, at least to me. It reminds me of an old lady or the 80s Avon perfume. I am glad that I didn't like it, because it was only half full *_* The 3.4 ounce bottle is $170. Making this sample is worth about $3

Heart Notes:	Geranium, Tuberose
Base Notes:	Musk, Patchouli, Frankincense, Cedarwood, Cistus   This box was worth about 36.75 and cost less than half of that. I consider this a win and I will be keeping this subscription.

-people who obsess over their lifestyle choices to the point that they judge others based on it... oh, you work out 15 hours a day- well I wont....oh, you think women should be married and have kids by 22- well, I don't.... oh, you don't eat meat- well, I used to be vegetarian but I love meat...... those things may work for you- but they aren't anything I strive for or will say is the only way to live.

Freebie Friday!

Not many this week- but still a great little haul. Body wash, Prolosec, Gain Scent Beads, Cascade Dishwasher Tabs. The Yes to Blueberries body wash smells just like the facial wipes, and I can't wait to give it a try. We also used the Gain Scent Booster on our towels- and yum. We will be buying a full size of this product. I have a bunch of freebies on the way, so I hope I can post a large haul soon.
